Anyone wanting to lower their VII with Eibach springs please avoid RC et al
Had mine done today at Demon Tweeks cost £266 inc of laser align!!
EVO specialists all wanted in the region of £500.

First impressions are very positive.
The ride is still as firm but not as harsh as the springs are progressive.

What geometry did they set it to? Did you specify or did they use the standard settings?

Set back to manufacturer's settings!
I'm sure they would set to customer's requirements.
May cost an extra £15.

The reason i ask is that with the lowered Eibachs, the specialist tuners change the allignement. I don't know the figures myself, but I have been told that standard settings on the lowered springs don't get the real benefit. I suggest you make some enquires and get the allignement reset. BTW, I know that Ralliart UK aren't keen on telling people what settings they use so maybe you should ask RC or somebody else You could try posting something on here.

you will get more camber just by lowering it.

I'm thinking of lowering my 7 too - where are Demon Tweeks based?
How much do the springs lower the car by and anyone know what the best alignment settings with these would be?

Cheers

Demon Tweeks are nr Wrexham (N Wales)
Easy to get to from the M6, M56.

Eibach springs lower visually by just the right amount [img]http://www.lancerregister.com/graphics/Wilk.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| middle >
(30mm approx)

I've read that the Eibach springs lower the car -30mm front and -18 rear, can anyone confirm this ?

The front of my E5 needs to drop the most, while the rear only needs a little bit.

Having mine set up next week 10-20 minutes toe in front and rear 2-2 1/4 neg camber on the front and 1 1/2 neg camber on the rear.

Note to get more than 1deg neg camber on the front the eccentric bolt has to be removed and reffited the other way.

Mark,

I've just phoned Demon Tweeks and was told that the Eibach lowering springs weren't available for the 7 :(
They claimed that they were only available through Mitsubishi (Co-ordsport)!

Did I get a muppet on the phone or did DT get them from Co-ordsport and fit them for you? Have you got any details of who you spoke to or who fitted them?

Cheers
