Ay ok. :)

This is worth a read.. http://www.rafmsa.co.uk/rafmsa-text/4-wheel-sports/racing-reports-2005/racing-round6.doc

Particually these parts.

"There were another three competitors in Class 3, headed by newcomer Rob Loftus in an Evo 8, closely followed by Martyn Astley who had put in a blistering run in the “D” Type to place him ahead of newcomer Steve Mehew in another Hyabusa powered Dax Rush."

"In Class 3, the four-wheel-drive Evo scorched round the track to retain the Class lead. Martyn’s “D” Type needs warm tyres to make full use of its 300 odd BHP, and his first run had gone well, however on the second run he struck a cone. Consequently, the time from his first run on cold tyres dropped him down the class. Subsequently, Steve in the Dax (with a slight improvement) moved up into class second."

I like the raf events, nice bunch of chaps and those Jedi things are incredible, id love to get a go. Hopefully ill be at Barkston a few times this year. :D
