Anyone thinking of ordering parts from Slowboy Racing in the US PM me first for some pointers you need to be aware of in regards of cost before you order.

Been $hafted 3 times on promises they haven't kept. I won't be using them again !

post it up mate, its only fair if your saying they shafted you that you let people know whats up... i have been contacting a few us suppliers about stuff slowboy being one of them...

Yeah have to say, that when i was after my rebuild bits and various other parts they wouldnt even reply to my six emails or my order forms, so luckily for me there were more Us companys out there that were even cheaper and amazingly quick in responding to my emails and delivery was exceptionally fast, so its not just you matey!!!

Dont like running people down especially not members of the MLR, but when you dont get responded to what can you do :confused:

very few us traders reply to emails in a timely manner, ie 1 reply in 10 days! AMS and RNR i have found to be very responsive and most helpfull, the rest are a nightmare

It's a certain aspect of the service I have been let down on the 3 occasions that isn't something to post in a public forum.

The parts and delivery aspect I can't complain about.

That makes no difference!
If you pm or email say 10 traders on here ,you can gurantee that only 1 or 2 of them will have the decency to reply!

Ive dealt with numerous dealers in the Uk , Europe and the US. i would say 9 out of 10 reply within 24/48 hours.
maybe its the chocie of company that you are approaching - the stack em high, sell em cheap dealers often dont have time to answer email.

Could it be our email isnt polite / clearly worded enough? Name and shame them and lets see if results tally.

Believe me ,the email or pm IS polite and clear!
Ive been here long enough now to know who will reply to pm's and those cant be ar$ed to reply.Just a yes or no would sometimes do.
Im not going to start posting names up as its Judlads thread.

Well you must not have emailed me. If you email Sales@slowboyracing.com I noticed some of your overseas emails get blocked as spam, maybe thats why you didnt get a response. It is just an example. As for JUDLAD... I dont know what your name is as to know what you situation is. Did you deal with me personally? if you did i apologize for what ever happened. As for emails, If they come to me directly i take care of them in 24 hours unless its a weekend. I know some have had issues with emails giong through from this board, and we took care of it through PMs on here. I do my best to help the MLR members out. Even with doing things I shouldnt, but it helps you guys out. So to say something against SBR from here, I take personally since I deal with 90% of you. If you didnt deal with me directly, please contact me so i can see what i can do to rectify your situation JUDLAD. I have gorn as far as to give my personal cell phone number to a few users to help with install and tech when I at home on the weekend to help with any questions. How many traders will do that? especially considering a few came in EARLY in the morning since you are 5 hours ahead! hahaha All I am saying is let me know what happened. I try my best to help, I am sorry if you have been shafted..

Hi Mark,

I am dealing with Matt, he is well aware of the issue and it is half way to being resolved.

I have been careful in my choice of words as it would not be fair to yourselves to just be completely negative about you hence my inital post.

Should the promises be kept that Matt has said I will gladly post to say so.

Well if there is anything I can do to help your situation out, feel free to PM or email me as I dont want to have anyone feel worried about ordering from us. Thats why I try to get all the UK customers to make sure you get treated and handled properly..

I have had one negative thing to say but have made sure that I have pointed out like I said I cannot complain about the quality of the parts or speed of delivery were your suppliers allow you to do so nor your pricing.

My inital inital post was abit close to the knuckle, I would like to publicly apologise to you guys at SBR, just heat of the moment could have worded better but after the same issue on 3 deliveries I was a bit ********.

I since found out you dealt with Matt, and have been explained what has happened. All I can say is, like i did on the phone the one day you called. " I deal with most of the UK and over seas customers" I bend over backwards to help you guys out. I am sorry some lack luster mishaps have shadowed our services for you, But I try my best not to have them happen for sales. If on the rare cases it does, I make it up in any way I can. Which I have been told Matt is now trying, just sucks its after the third attempt. All i can do is offer you my services and I will do what I can for you!
