Ive added a little poll for the bikes that have caught my eye most so far. Ive always been a GSXR man 600 k2 and my previous 750 and i think they represent great value but after seeing a an R1 on saturday i'm very tempted..

sorry if ive missed out the kwaka and cbr

My colour choice order. Not too keen on the yellow.

After visiting the dealers this morning and seeing the new GSXR's in the flesh its out of them now  so what one do i choose had both 600 & 750 before loved them both, the appeal of having my first litre bike or save some cash and get the 600..or grab the 750 the only dislike to the 750 are that it doesn't have the blue wheels like the 600  decisions decisions

really didn't like the R1 & R6 after sitting on them today they both felt quite a bit heavier than the gixers

the salesman fell in love with the Evo

well speaking from the lucky position of getting a K5 thou a few months ago (same as the K6 thou just one decal different) they are amazing, i rode all the current litre bikes (ZX10, fireblade,R1 and even a duke) and within the space of 3 days, i rode them round the same stretch of road and the Gixer was so much better IMO, they are all good bikes but i felt like the gixer was familliar and composed but also when opened up it made me laugh inside my helmet it really feels that quick.

i have owned mostly Suzuki's over the years but have had Yamaha's and Honda's so a suzuki feels right to me.

Best bike for 2006

£5k buys a mint low mileage 2001-2004 Aprillia RSV Mille R with Ohlins suspension. One of the best bikes ever down a twisty B road.

If you've had a few in-line fours, try one of these.

If you can find one, the Edwards replica is probably the best of the lot. Ohlins suspension, Lightweight OZ wheels, Radial brakes, Akrapovic 2-2 cans, race ECU etc.

Had hundreds of bikes but the one that stands out the most is my 89 Honda RC30 race rep.....powered in at 8,000 revs and was balistic !

Had R1's, Gixers etc....

Think MV or Aprilla is the way to go though :)

Mmmmmmmmmmm.....got me wanting another toy ;)

just looked at the k6 and 750 they are the nuts love the gp inspired pipe. reckon either one is best as u could get the wheels done to match on the 750.
my mate gets his black k6 today will be over in an hour.Trying to get it run in for sunday As of to france and spain on sunday..... bring it on.... :coolsm: :coolsm: :coolsm: :D
