OK guys, we have put the wheels in motion to correct a few issues.

Inlet Temps

We had a problem on quite a few of the cars with inlet temps being extremely high compared to the ambient temp.

In order to rectify this we will hopefully be taking delivery of a very large cooling fan in the next few weeks to alleviate this problem.

Wheelspin

We have been in contact with Dyno Dynamics and will now be using the advanced tie down method to stop the high powered cars spinning the wheels.

Offer


A free run to any car that ran on the day which had inlet temps over 30 degrees or didnt get a good reading to wheelspin. Please bring with you your graphs from the day to get your free pass.

Dates to be confirmed later.

Conrad - if you can organise everyone back say on a Saturday, then i'd like to bring mine along - stage two on my car will be completed by April 1st - April Fools day, about right then; and she'll be good to roll!

My car was not ready on saturday, but would like to give a blast on the rr with a few more evo's. I attended saturday just to watch

Great offer and one I will take up for sure as my IT was 45.

Conrad do you know anyone who can check out my cars ecu? Someone that can plug in and make sure it hasent be remapped?

my I.T was around 30 would love to take you up on that very generous offer :)

soon as you get that new fan i will come straight down,would be very interesting readings.

My IT was high aswell and my afr readings were also very high yet when it was mapped less than1000 miles ago it was in the 11's I would like to come back and see what they are next time as I am worried about your readings, a few others were warned about running lean and since have checked thier figures and found them to be ok, have you any comments on why this was, and have you checked your lambda probe :confused:

I will phone to book it back in but I am away in Lanzarote for a week so will call when I get back, thanks for the offer, great blokes who can admit thier failings ;) :adore:

i hope another evo day comes out of this

with the re runs for free.. and other numbers made up of paying members who could not attend first time round..due to work commitments or there cars weren't ready.. ect

Guys, if you want to make it another RR Saturday thats fine by us. I think it would be good to start a list and then I can confirm a date when I know the fan has arrived. Either way if you want to fill it up with paying and FOC runs thats fine as well BUT the FOC customers take preference over paying customers.

My car was the second one to go on, ran with the bonnet shut, and inlet temps of 38 degrees. :eek:

So i for one will take up the offer when the new fan is installed.

Also, with me not turning the boost controller up beforehand, :cry: it only peaked at 1.4 bar or 20.4psi, (despite you saying it was 1.7) ;) .

Overall, good day, good weather, good people, and most importantly, good food :D

Good Food, I'll pass that onto my mother :) As for your boost I think my maths were out several times that day... lol

We'll definitely take up your very generous offer of a re-run. We'll contact you to arrange an appointment once you've taken delivery of your new fan (and the car has nice new oil & plugs after it's service ;) )

Also, must thank you again for sorting out the missing bolt on the inlet manifold. Lord knows how that managed to go missing :rolleyes:

My inlet temps were 51 deg :cry: ,but other mods before a rerun me finks :D
