Hi all,

Anyone from the south east wana go to JAE at billing on sunday in convoy? if so i will organinze a south mimms convoy for the morning.

Are there any plans for the 10 of the best attendees (www.trackdayplus.co.uk, if u have had ur head in the sand)
to go up early on the sunday?

same again if people want we could organize a big multi-club convoy that could stop off at service staions on the way to pick up more as we travel oop norf? we have done this in the past and had as many as 60 cars in a line on the way to the pod :)

cheers Lex

which route will your mimms convoy take?

got about a few cars at one hotel, could join up en-route or at mimms depending on the time?!

Hi all,

just a quick reminder that the convoy for 10best will be leaving south mimms on m25 at the ungodly hour of 6am on sunday morning. yes i know that it is criminally early, but we need to be there for b4 10am and york is a bit of a trek!

We will pull into service stations on route on request.

if u do wana come with, do let us know so that we know to wait 4 u

hope the evo 2&4 enjoyed the japukmeets convoy to JAE ;)

Hi Lex

Sorry for turfing you off the stand on Sunday, but needed the space for the other EVOs.

Let me know what route you are taking to this and a couple of us may join you on the way.

Teri,

dont worry bout it, i would be quite annoyed if i had gone to the effort of organizing a Japukmeets stand only to be gatecrashed by escort cossie for example.

So far the plan is to go straight up the M1,M18,M62 ,then A&B rds..

We could probably join up with you on the M18 Jc with the A1(M)
or M18 Jc M180

Let me know what sort of time you expect to get to either of those.

Thanks

Copied from Scoobynet..........

just a bit of traffic advice for anyone heading to elvington by driving along the a1079 through hayton. Dont!!

they have got roadworks there because they are repairing the bridge. (not that you would know there is a bridge).

also anyone coming from junction 37 m62 and then along the A614(howden, holme on spalding moor etc) check with aa roadwath that the road is open as 2 wagons met on the hump back bridge on monday!uch: they smashed it to bits. so the road has been closed from howden since monday, no idea when likely to reopen.

did not want you to be late!

Just thought i`d let you know. Why not travel up the A1 to the A64 then go up from there?

Rich.

I live err...... two miles off the A1, morning coffee anyone?? ;)

If you take the A1 North off the M62, about 4 miles up theres a Turn off for the A63, sign posted Selby. At that roundabout turn right, and theres a layby where we could meet?

How many cars are coming up?

From there we could

a) rejoin A1 upto A64, or

b) continue along local A roads to the A64, mebbe alittle longer but not so boring.

Whatever, or just call me ten minutes before your due to hit the A1 and i`ll join the group on-route

Rich :)
