This is my car, it is one of the last 35 cars still driving in Holland.
It is complete rebuild. The engine is also rebuild and modified,it has now 204hp and 279 NM torque. It is very fun to drive nobody expects that, that old silly four door saloon car is that quick.

By the way your English is not bad. In fact it's better than some of the English people on this forum.

No offence you all the Evo boys (I am one meself!), but it's great to see a RWD Lancer in such good condition.

Do you use it every day?

Used to race one of these until it became a gooey lump of brown rust. See members cars.....

Best car I've EVER driven - about 270 horses (weighing only 1070kg remember), RWD and with amazing handling - it was just like a big go-kart!

There was a technique to driving it too - you might as well have got rid of the throttle and had a switch instead - such was the on/off power delivery. I never developed the technique, I must add - I just used to get it turned in and plant the throttle. I was a lot younger in those days and could deal with 5th gear 110mph powerslides.

Turn-in was incredible - I NEVER experienced understeer in that car........

Showed a few Evo 6s and a 22B the way at a track day at Cadwell once as well.

Thanks Dino for your mail. It is nice to now that there are still Lancers in Zwitserland. I know that there are still 3 Lancers driving in Zwitserland. I've been in Zwitserland myself this summer and i'm going to Zwitserland next year. I've found an other Lancer in Meiringen. It's a white one almost brand new, the owner is a Mitsubishi dealer.
